Having been a member of the club for just over 7 years, two of which as a director and two as VP, I am very proud to be the President of this great chapter.
I am currently a response officer which can get in the way of the club, but try and get out as much as possible.
I joined the Met in 1978 and retired in Aug 2009 working all over. I joined the club in 2010 and as well as being VP I also deal with merchandise as well as being treasurer for the UK & I Conference.
I ride a Ducati Diavel and love a drop of red wine.
Having joined the club approx. 2 years ago, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the club so far and hope this will continue long into the future.
I love riding with members as its what I miss about the job.
The Blue Knights law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Invite all motorcyclists to take part in a Charity Ride on Sunday 8th July 2018 In Kent to support My Shining Star Charity. Blue Knights England II LEMC has this year chosen My Shining Star as our Charity for the next year. The Charity raises funds for the families of those Children who have been diagnosed with Cancer. On average it costs a family £600 a month to live and when you consider one or both parents may have to give up work that’s a huge amount of money. In the past year My Shining Star have given over £50.000 worth of grants to families.
We have arranged a Ride on the 8th July of around 140 miles across Kent to raise much needed funds. We welcome all motorcyclists, both serving officers and friends and families, as long as you ride a motorcycle.
The Blue knights Motorcycle Club is a non-profit organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles. The Blue Knights® LEMC have approximately 650 chapters, 19,500+ members in 11 Conferences within 29 countries. The traditional priorities of the Blue Knights LEMC is to support charities, promote a positive motorcycling image, to maintain a respectful and professional image as law enforcement personal.
If anyone is interested in supporting this charity please speak to PC 4887 Rob Whyte (Southend BTP) or PS 2600 Christian Baenziger (Victoria BTP). Both active members of the Blue Knights
